An Evening of Craig Petrie

This is the suggested performance list for a Choir Concert, probably in September, just after school begins. Of course, the order will have to be worked and I can see taking some of these songs and have them performed by smaller mixed groups. There are a few instrumental pieces as well as some that could very nicely be performed by a youth group.

Master, The Tempest is Raging
O, Thou Kind and Gracious Father
Do What Is Right
Secret Prayer
Hold to the Rod
Praise to the Man
Come, Come Ye Saints – Violin Solo Piano Accompaniment
Beautiful Savior
Choose the Right
Oh, Holy Words
Love at Home
Did You Think to Pray?
Come Thou Font (TTBB)
Ask of God (Youth)
Jesus Savior, Pilot Me
Love One Another
Oh What Songs of the Heart
High On The Mountain Top

If you do hold this evening concert, please consider recording it. I’d like to hear what these songs sound like, before deciding to use them. I’m a Ward Choir Director, but I don’t play the piano myself, so it’s difficult to tell what they really sound like. I could ask our choir accompanist to play through them, but she doesn’t sight read and requires adequate practice time before she will attempt to play for us. so I’m just looking for a way to hear them.
