The Ward Choir

Below you will find an announcement I have arranged to be placed in all of the Relief Society and Sacrament Meeting bulletins in the wards of our stake.  I have arranged for this speaker at a stake fireside next month.  Please make an effort to be there!  It is best if husband and wife attend together, as there is so much important information being presented that it sometimes gets lost in the translation from one spouse to another.  Additionally, this topic is one on which both husband wife need to be on the same page so that progress can be made in a more efficient way.  I hope that young women will be willing to babysit for that time block, even though it is on a Sunday night.  Plan now to make whatever arrangements you need to in order to be able to attend.  His presentation is informative, spiritually uplifting, and motivational in nature.  I promise that you will learn many things that you will be grateful to know.  Even if you feel you are adequately prepared at this time, please come anyway so that you can learn whether your preparations are practical and/or sufficient.

In the future, I will be making arrangements to make some more bulk purchases based on the information we will get at the fireside.  I hope to offer affordable sanitation, water purification, heat and cooking alternatives, and more.  Now read this blurb and get excited and ready to attend.  You won’t regret it, I promise.

Attention All Adults in the Valley View Stake!! Please put Sunday, May 17, 7-9 p.m. on your calendars for a Valley View Stake Adult Fireside at the stake center.  TIM WOOLF, a well known specialist in topics regarding emergency preparedness and survival will be speaking.  Tim has served on the Sheriff’s Department of Search and Rescue, and has commanded a unit in the “Incident Command System”, performing 5-10 rescues per month.  He is trained in the management of numerous disasters and held the position of ICS Commander for the State of Utah for 5 years in the area of earthquakes.  He was sent to the scenes of real disasters in this country and abroad.  He is trained in what works and what does not.  We are very lucky to have the opportunity to hear him speak.  BE THERE OR BE UNAWARE!!
